January 15, 201015 yr Well, it did help me wake up this morning. :D The colours definitey suit IPBSetup. :) I noticed a couple of possible bugs right off, Brandon. The quick sign in doesn't seem to have a "remember me" check box, so I wonder if it is forced or ignored by default. Also, the Topic Description - "I've added a new skin I have some tweaking to do, but I think I like it" (part in bold) - could do with a different colour, as the current silver does not stand out against the blue gradient background. Should be an easy fix, eh? Good stuff, anyway. Happy Friday!
January 15, 201015 yr Too flashy for me personally. I can see why you say that, I think I like it better than the default style though. January 16, 201015 yr I like the style, myself. Brent is right, it is pretty flashy. But that can work to your advantage in the right niche. I like the lighter blues over the standard IPB style and that green in the standard IPB menu is not exactly my cup of tea. I need to see what it takes to change that 'postbit' area color. I use different colors for different usergroups and the red really can't be read at all.

I don't think is is a bad design, but a little too large of a header and the borders around the content are huge too. Also, the postbit area with the member names, the blues don't match up at the bototm of the gradient behind the user info and the rest of the CSS color associated with it.
January 16, 201015 yr The designer just posted an update with some bug fixes, I'll try to get IPBSetup updated within the next 24 hours. I'll need to add the "thanks mod" edits as well to the style, it looks like all the other "SEO" edits are still in place.
January 17, 201015 yr I like the new skin it's a nice change over the default one. I was pleasantly surprised when logging in. :)
January 22, 201015 yr Back to default skin today, I noticed. Is this one growing on you, Brandon? :D ya, I like that other one but it is a bit much and I didn't care for the IE issues it had I don't so much mind the default, but I would like to have something a little more unique.
January 22, 201015 yr Brandon, You should give the stock "cleancut" skin a try. I'm a former vBulletin user like yourself and I really like the cleancut skin, as it has a bit more of a vBulletin 3 series feel to it. I've always preferred to just work with default skins myself, I usually just change the colours and grandients etc. I find using stock skins makes updating faster and easier. -Chris
January 23, 201015 yr Have you taken a look at the recent ones I have Brandon? (more on the way soon, btw) ;)
