Registering the domain should mean something. Hopefully something for IPB comes out

Here is a new thread I started on the subject.

Honestly doesn't look like it got any better in that thread either. If anything, Brian's post laid out in detail the case against. It is interesting that he mentioned the following.

 

Then, there's the what-if's. If we are 90% done and IPB announces a built in program in the next version that actually works well, the market share just dropped by 99% in one email. It ends up on a lot of wasted money, time, effort, and all the rest.

It sounds to me like they consider it a strong possibility.
