Bob, just for the record -

I purchased the IPB Webmaster.com domain on 4 February, 2010. On 5 February, I purchased the Invision licenses used on that site.

In late July of that same year, I suffered a mild (if there can be such a thing) stroke and started scaling back my online presence. IPB Webmaster was still a fledgling community that needed a lot of effort to be nurtured into real life, so I passed along the database and all the IPB Webmaster and IPB Help domain names, free-of-charge, to our mutual friend, the owner of that 'upstart Admin community'. I did sell the Invision licenses used on that site, to the same individual, at a later date.

I was unaware my own attempts to keep some semblence of Brandon's old IPB Help community, as well as my own IPB Webmaster community alive were upsetting to you, however I did feel since I was given the IPB Help database, it was my own to do with as I pleased. Perhaps you had intended to assign some restrictions to your gift, but I do not recall that being part of our discussions at that time.

Yes, you gifted me the IPB Help domains and the IPB Help database. But IPB Webmaster was my own, turned over to myself by no one. I can produce a copy of the receipts to substantiate this, as I just checked them, after reading your 'history'.

We have something in common. I had a stroke 6 years ago and to this day I still walk with a limp and my right arm is basically useless for anything but small tasks.

I understand you had a separate site which you imported the IPB Setup DB I gave you into. I also know you had the hyphenated domain and I had just purchased the ipbadmin.com domain from Bryce and I don't remember where I got the unhyphenated version of ipbwebmaster, but, I do know I did own it. I pushed ipbhelp.me and ipbsetup.com domains to you. I don't remember what I did with the ipbwebmaster and ipbadmin doamins. I do know they expired and I now have them again. I could have got the domain from Brandon because he bought Johns IPB Webmaster site, but, never imported it into here. I did after I bought the place from Brandon.

In all honesty, Mike, I thought you'd give it a better effort to keep the site alive. I was not happy when one day the site redirected to AdX. If I had time then I would have done what I just did and would have brought it back right away. Although I had no domain and running it under any other would not have worked.

In any case I am going to try to make it go this time. If it doesn't work out then into oblivion it will go. I just can't let it be without at least trying.

Glad to see this place is back in one form or another, even without the hyphen. ;)

After some problems in real life I opened it up again. This time for good
