Newbie to the site

My name is Brian Tinsley and I am the owner/founder of the aorticdissection.com/Forums site. I started this site out in 2005 to help others. I am ready for a change, I am sick of the vBulletin board as it's just not user friendly in my opinion. I had one heck of a time upgrading from 4.02 to 4.03 only to think that I wanted this skin that I purchased that said it required 4.03. So, to make a long story short, I found this site and the owner's blog and he seems to know what is going on with this board and SEO integration. I am wondering if I could get help in migrating my present VBulletin site over to an IPB board and then get help with adding my Google adsense to the board and another issue I have is that I presently have a blog/website, www.aorticdissection.com and should I try and integrate it with the IPB board? Or.. does the IPB board come with a blog portion as well?

IPB has a blog addon as well as a gallery, downloads and cms addons.

 

They cost extra for each addon, but, it's still cheaper than vbulletin. With IPB 3.1 which is supposed to be released as final today, maybe it has been already I haven't checked, adsense can be added by using the built in admanager.
