some attachments missing after conversion

I just ran the converter going from vBulletin to IPB and it all went smoothly except for the attachments.

 

My attachments are stored as files and I can browse to the directories to see they are all there but when I run the conversion it is only picking up 23 out of 91 attachments for some reason.

 

Any idea's or tips?

I'm sure this maybe a side effect of this above problem but; The attachments that were imported were either given a new ID, causing attachments to display incorrectly in their threads (wrong attachment attached to post). Or are simply messed up another way.

I had the same problem. Take a look in the cache directory for a mem.cgi file. Look at it. It is a log file and might shed some light on what is happening. Also look for the sql error log and look through it. My problem was caused by posts that were deleted still in the database. It threw off the sequence. It caused attachments to be in the wrong threads or missing altogether. On thing you could try is to move them back into the database and do the conversion again. I tried this on one site and while I still lost a couple attachments the ones that were there worked in the threads.
