Is it possible to publish news with categories with CCS?

 

I use Joomla right now and find it very nice to be able to use different categories for my news.

 

At first glance I only saw Pages in CCS, not Posts/News/Blogs or anything like that.

 

Also - is there some kind of Video-Demo or Tutorial for the newbies like me?

You can publish new posts or new topics using the RSS generator for the forum. We're using it on our main page as a block under our content you can see the latest posts from our forum.

 

Under that you can see the latest posts from Invision Power forums.

 

So if you setup a "News forum" and posted news to that, it could then be sent to IP.CCS via RSS feed. If the blogs have an RSS export feature then the same could be done with them.

 

And I haven't seen any videos yet or decent tutorials for it.
