I hate to admit it but I've never used Facebook before lol. I don't have one, I may get one in the future though.

I only started using it about 2 years ago to connect with some old friends that have moved away. It's been a great tool for keeping in touch with friends and family. It's also been very helpful for promoting sites and events.
I can understand that aspect, but I think it's stupid when people have like 500 odd friends and spend tons of time on it, for example people I know get up in the morning, go on Facebook, when they go out they use it on their phone and again when they get home. I don't see the attraction but I'm sure like everything it can become addictive.

My facebook fan page for Cheers and Gears is growing rapidly. I cross post a lot of our bigger stories over to the facebook page for people who might be fans but not actually members. 230 members and it's only 2 months old. It brings a LOT of traffic.

btw.. don't forget that once you get 100 fans you can get a nicer looking url by going to www.facebook.com/username/
