Brandon Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 I have a few Facebook fan pages. I've started on for IPBSetup, I'll open it up if you want to be a fan, but know that I have a lot of work to do on it still. I have 2 for some groups I'm part of here in Topeka http://www.facebook.com/TransformTopeka http://www.facebook.com/TopekaTweetup Do you have any fan pages, or have you thought about making one? Stormraven Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 I hate to admit it but I've never used Facebook before lol. I don't have one, I may get one in the future though. Quote
Brandon Posted November 17, 2009 Author Posted November 17, 2009 I hate to admit it but I've never used Facebook before lol. I don't have one, I may get one in the future though. I only started using it about 2 years ago to connect with some old friends that have moved away. It's been a great tool for keeping in touch with friends and family. It's also been very helpful for promoting sites and events. Quote
Stormraven Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 I can understand that aspect, but I think it's stupid when people have like 500 odd friends and spend tons of time on it, for example people I know get up in the morning, go on Facebook, when they go out they use it on their phone and again when they get home. I don't see the attraction but I'm sure like everything it can become addictive. Quote
oldsmoboi Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 My facebook fan page for Cheers and Gears is growing rapidly. I cross post a lot of our bigger stories over to the facebook page for people who might be fans but not actually members. 230 members and it's only 2 months old. It brings a LOT of traffic. Brandon Posted December 4, 2009 Author Posted December 4, 2009 I updated the link in the first post to point to our IPBSetup fan page btw.. don't forget that once you get 100 fans you can get a nicer looking url by going to www.facebook.com/username/ regards Quote
