Since this site seems new and just starting, anyone know of some articles or places to read how to use IPB?

What questions do you have Shelly, we can answer just about anything even though the site may appear new, we've got a lot of experience to help anyone with Invision Community Forum problems with.

If I may butt in: is there a skinning guide? I have heard that skinning is a LOT different from vB (and possibly not as nice 'n easy).

Its definitely not as easy to skin IPB as it was vBulletin, I don't care who tells you it is, they've either never did a vBulletin skin, or don't have a clue of what they're talking about. The Invision Community Forum skinning system is probably its only real down fall as far as i'm concerned so far.

 

I'll look around and see if I can find a guide for it, but I haven't seen one for IPB 3 yet.

I am interested in learning how to do some basic stuff in IPB as well. Like simply adding a button to the defualt top row (sorry kinda a n00b to using this software), have used smf, phpbb, and a few others. But with the lack of documentation its not making me want to stay with IPB.

 

I got the CCS as well and it seems interesting and I like it so far.. hmm back to work ;)
