I prefer it with the forum layout as well...as much time as I spend coding skins for the default setup (obviously), it's refreshing to see it the way you have it Bob.

Can't say that I personally know of one like that. It is a chore to clear out the whitespace when coding for 3.0, that is for sure. If I run across one, I'll let you know ;)

Yes, I agree that having the single icons in the postbit or below - similar to how it is in vBulletin - would be better.
