Some of you might have an account here when John owned the site and then signed up again when Brandon owned it. If you have 2 accounts post in this thread what the accounts are and I will send you an email on each account to verify the accounts are yours. Once you reply I will merge the accounts. I have already merged John and Brandons accounts.

well, not so new! I'm a Brandon follower! My name is Patty and I live in Sitka, AK. I own a Coast Guard family support website/forum. I did buy the new 4.0 vbulletin license when it first came out. I don't know a whole lot, but know enough that I wasn't impressed. I really tried to use it, but I just can't get past the fact that I paid for my license twice. So with those feelings, I renewed my old IPB license and I'm not looking back. It's nice to see that IPB's customer service has not changed....great as ever! Figured I'd better join now that I've made my decision to stick with IPB.

I have turned on Facebook and OpenID logins. You can now login with your Facebook or openid login. I will be adding this domain as an OpenID provider so in the future you'll be able to login with yourusername.ipbsetup.com at any openid enabled site. I will be doing the same thing with Windows Live.

I was testing out this IP mod that helps integrate 3rd part applications and I messed up the install, but I know what to do now. Welcome again :P

Hi! Ive used vbulletin for 4 years, 2 years on my own site, but after the VB4 drama I decided to make the move over to IPB. I spent a bit of time on the IPB forums and was amazed at how helpful everyone was! Also the IPB Support is superb. Quite a few times they have just gone into my board, fixed the problem and then explained what the fault was. Finally went semi live with my VB to IPB site a few days ago and the members seem to be liking it. Still got a lot of work to do behind the scenes such as Invision Community Pages, however that can be done in slow time. Also a member on your VB forum, so glad you decided to set up an IPB one and hopefully it will gai…

Hello everyone, If you don't know me, my name is Brandon Sheley I was the founder of a vBulletin site called vBulletinSetup, which I recently sold to Crowdgather to allow me more time for my family. I have a few blogs and this forum right here, I made IPBHelp to learn what was possible with IPB. I don't see it growing very fast, because I just don't have the time to commit to it like I did when I started vBSetup. I'm open to suggestions or mods we should add here, I'm just now getting familiar with the backend, it's nothing like what I've used before (vBulletin) I welcome and and all members, this will be a friendly site where we can hopefully learn from ea…

Hi Guys I've just bough an IPB forum, with around 9K members and 140K posts. I'm looking to make some substantial changes to the current site and wondered if anyone was available for 1-1 help for a while (paid of course). I am looking at new skin design, and am considering introducing Invision Community Pages, Invision Community Pages and Invision Community Blog? Thanks in advance? Lee

Hey guys, some of you may know me, I'm Mikey from vBSetup. Looking at purchasing my first IPB license, as I got a demo copy and liked what I see. Not gonna move any communities over from vBulletin, but I am gonna start a new community using the IPB software, which explains me being here. That, and me stalking Brandon ;) Maybe one day I'll be as good with IPB as I am with vB and we'll just all bow to me lol :D Nice to see you all.

Been studying a lot about IPB and ran into a lot of Brandon's post :) So I followed to this website. Name's Panupat. Nice to meet you. I ran a Final Fantasy website in Thai language using phpBB with a custom php to pull stuff from the BB onto my main page. Always wanted to switch to CMS so my team can update the websites too. Currently all the data are hand made in Dreamweaver. Invision Community Pages got me very excited. Definitely will try it out on my website :) Hoping I'll be able to recreate my website's appearance on IPB. http://www.all-final.com/home/

I'm going to import the old IPBSetup database from when John ran it sometime this week. I see another unique webmaster IPB DB that I may pick up and import as well. So if you see some errors this week, I'm sure it's me breaking something

I've added a few feeds to build some related content, you'll see them at the bottom of the index page. (and I plan to add a few more, but ran out of time) I'm going to see what I have to do to remove them from the "new post" link at the top of the forum. So bare with me while I do some work to build some traffic to this place B)
