Hello, I want to register a domain name it's .CO, .ORG & .IN and some other extensions are available so which one should I choose? The blog will be related to Tech & Internet Marketing. It will focus on India but am confused whether to go for .IN itself as it may not perform well on Google.com. And if you were to choose between .NET or .CO then which one would you prefer? Google is considering .CO as a generic domain name like .COM, .NET but I have yet to see .CO domains in SERPs....

All of these are great, but wouldn’t it be good to automate the process, and bring in more targets? Of course it would! With social media reach and engagement rates having dipped so precipitously over the last year or so, paying to play is the only option for most brands now. But what about businesses and brands that can’t afford to advertise on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and the like? Not everyone is willing, never mind able, to carve out the budget necessary to keep their content in front of a critical mass of relevant followers on a regular basis. Those organizations can be particularly creative or incredibly persistent, but the most effective strategy they can embrace may be to get all hands on deck in the form of an employee advocacy program. Of course, to go in this directi…

It’s an established fact that Christmas no longer begins when supermarkets start stocking up on Quality Street, it begins when John Lewis releases its Christmas advert. And here’s something that may send a shiver down your cynical spine – it’s happening next week. Can you bare the anticipation? Everyone who knows me knows I’m obsessed with unicorns – not just the magical beasts you’ll often find hanging out near rainbows but marketing unicorns. What’s a marketing unicorn, you ask? It’s one of those magical campaigns that’s so effective it performs in the top 1-3% of all marketing campaigns. Marketing unicorns are so special that, even though they’re rare, they end up delivering almost half of the value of your overall marketing efforts. For example, here on the WordStream blog, our top 50 articles drive as much traffic as thousands of others (the marketing donkeys) combined. I call it the Unicorn Marketing Power Law. This is why it’s so key, as a ma…

Creating content is easy. Creating great content? That’s much tougher. Just 10 short years ago, the barrier to entry was much lower for companies. Content marketing wasn’t even a thing. But once 2010 came around, it started exploding, as seen on Google Trends: In the past six years, the amount of content has grown exponentially. Everyone has bought into the now clichéd mantra: content is king. Yet, although brands, businesses, and publishers are cranking out more content every year, conversion rates aren’t increasing. Why? It goes back to the first sentence: creating great content is hard! Yet for all the changes we’ve seen, there are many basic things …
