Invision Community Forum and Applications Help

If you notice on the main blog page it only shows 2 blog entries. I can't for the life of me find the setting to change. I want at least 5 entries. There is a setting for default amount of posts to show on the blog page, but, it seems to affect only member blogs and not the main blog index. Anyone know how to get the page to show more than 2 blog posts?

While I like the gallery default display unless you have a number of categories it doesn't look good to me. I prefer the forum layout and that is what I use on my Invision Community Pages setups. What are you're thoughts on this?

As I keep looking around within IPB, I keep finding more ways to help improve SEO. In THIS THREAD I outlined a way to edit two Invision Community Forum files to remove the forum name from the page title. Now let's move on and edit two files to accomplish the same with Invision Community Blog. If you make these two simple edits, it will prevent the forum name from being included on your blog page and on your blog entry pages. This will give more weight to your blog name and to your blog entries. Hi! Are there any official German and/or Russian Invision Community Blog language files? I found a German one on IPBSupport.de but it's for Invision Community Blog 1.4. Invision Community Blog being at 2.0.2 at the moment, makes those files totally useless. I didn't find anything in the Resources area over at IPS either. :(

Is it possible to publish news with categories with CCS? I use Joomla right now and find it very nice to be able to use different categories for my news. At first glance I only saw Pages in CCS, not Posts/News/Blogs or anything like that. Also - is there some kind of Video-Demo or Tutorial for the newbies like me?

I have a question about user group management. What I would like to do is: - I create a user group. - I designate a member the "moderator" or "head" of that group. - Other members may apply for membership of that user group. - The Moderator/Head of the group can approve or deny those requests. Is that possible out of the box? And if not, is there a mod that does this? What I want to do is semi-recreate the social groups discussions that vBulletin has. Only I would be doing this with user groups and actual forums. I am aware that there is a plugin for IPB 2.3 that does this (sort of), but it has not been updated to 3.0 yet and I would be willing to …

Hi there! From my IPB < 2.0 days I seem to remember that there was a German website and/or forum that provided support in German and German lang-files for Invision Community Forum. Is there a site like that around? Is there anything like Invisionize around? I mean Invisionize was sort of going down hill last time I checked (reputation wise) a few years ago. So I guess my question is: are there any good resource websites for IPB (like this wonderful forum :) )?
